God Anubis leads Hunefer into the Hall of Justice, where his heart, in other words his conscience, is weighed against the feather of Maat, symbol of order, justice and truth. Anubis checks the tongue of the balance while the "monster" known as the eater of the dead, looks on. God Thot records the result. Gold Horus then leads Hunefer towards the Shrine in which Gold Osiris sits on the throne; behind him are his two sisters Goddess Isis and Goddess Nephthys.
